Inscribed/signed on the FFEP to her son Roland, "One of the participants in the voyage herein recorded". Stunning bright blue cloth with extensive gilt decorations. Moderate rubbing and some loss at head/tail of spine, as pictured. Bookplate from Esther Johnson as well as her signature on FFEP too. Binding is tight, foldout map is still untorn/in great shape, and textblock is clean. Overall, Very Good- and rare.
